Collage Challenge

Collage artist and lovely lady Claudine Hellmuth came up with a fun little game for artists to play. It's a collage challenge, her husband comes up with a word and you make a quick collage, about 20 minutes, around the theme of the word. The latest word was Hurt.
I'll bet after my last rant you'd think my entry would involve a wedding photo torn in half or something but, sorry, you'd be wrong. When I heard the word hurt, what immediately came to mind was the series of epidural treatments I had last summer to treat my back injury. The results were fabulously positive, but the treatments involved having a cortisone-like substance pumped into my spine while lying face down on a fluoroscope and they hurt like bloody hell. Here's my quick collage, the center piece is a copy of the xray of needles going into my spine, ow!
